The Insulin Safety Suite

The Insulin Safety Suite is a collection of courses specially designed for all Healthcare Professionals, as well as people with diabetes and their families. The Healthcare e-Academy and NHS Diabetes first started working together to develop The Insulin Safety Suite in June 2010. The overriding aim of the partnership is to reduce insulin errors and save lives.

NHS Diabetes has now merged with NHS Improving Quality but our partnership remains the same. All Insulin Safety Suite modules, apart from The Safe Use of Insulin, are free to anyone living in the UK. The Safe Use of Insulin is free to anyone in England and those working for a health board in Scotland, for everyone else there is a small fee.
